#7 - Adding a top level domain (tld) to your account

Ok, so you want to use a top level domain name for your web hosting account instead of username.free-web-hosting.biz

We assume that you have already updated the name servers for your domain name.

This can easily be achieved by doing the following.

  1. Register a domain name with GoDaddy.com (Only necessary if you do not already own a domain name you would like to use.

  2. Login to your web hosting control panel.

  3. Once logged in, click, "Account settings" or "Profile".

  4. You should now see a box with the name "Extra domain". Let's pretend that your domain name is 'feroxhost.com'. You would now type in "feroxhost.com" in the domain field.

  5. When you have typed in the domain name you would like to use and checked that it does not contain any typos, click "Update".

  6. That's is it. Given that your domain's NS records was updated for more than 24-48 hours ago, you can now access your web site on the Free-Web-Hosting.biz server using your domain name.
